Kashmir And Vaishnodevi

Day 01

Pick up at Srinagar Airport, and proceed to hotel.

Day 02

In the afternoon visit Nishat Bagh -‘The ga rden of pleasure’ and Shalimar Bagh -‘Abode of Love’. Visit Shankaracharya hill , the holy temple. The Shiva temple, as Kalhana believes, was constructed by Raja Gopadatya in 371 B.C. and, as such, is the oldest shrine in Kashmir Enjoy Dal Lake Shikara ride and visit island of Char Chinar Evening at leisure.

Day 03

Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar
Gulmarg literally means meadow of flowers. It is a majestic hill station in the district of Baramula of Jammu and Kashmir in India. The hill station, at an altitude of 2730 m, was earlier known as Gaurimarg, where Gauri stands for Goddess Parvati the wife of Lord Shiva. The name Gulmarg was given to this place by the King Yousuf Shah Chak. Visit Gulmarg – known as ‘Meadow of Flowers’. view the apple orchards.Enjoy the longest Cable Car ride up to the Apharwat snow point The small settlement of Gulmarg is situated on a flat plateau below the Mt. Apharwat mountain ridge. The table-top shaped mountain becomes one of the best destinations for ski pleasureswith its long crest.

Day 04

Srinagar – Pahalgam – Srinagar
Proceed to Pahalgam.on the way visit Avantiswami Temple, Avantipur At Avantipura itself Avantivarman erected two magnificent temples, one dedicated to Lord Vishnu called Avantisvamin and the other to Lord Siva called Avantisvara, the former built before his succession to the throne and the latter obtaining sovereignty. During the medieval times, these temples witnessed mass destruction and were reduced to ruins, and pass-by the Pampore Saffron fields. On arrival enjoy Lidder riverside trek. Evening at leisure.

Day 05

Srinagar – Katra – Vaishnodevi
Arrive at Katra, the base point of Vaishnodevi in the evening. Later proceed for the Vaishnodevi Temple e temple is near the town of Katra, in the Reasi district in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is one of the most revered places of worship in India. The shrine is at an altitude of 5300 feet and a distance of approximately 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from Katra.[1] Approximately 8 million pilgrims (yatris) visit the temple every year[2] and it is the second most visited religious shrine in India,, a trek of total 28 kms.

Day 06

Vaishnodevi – Katra
Return back to Katra. On arrival free time for relaxation or leisure activities.

Day 07

Katra – Departure from Jammu
Proceed to Jammu. Board the train for your hometown. Tour Concludes.

Day 08

Bomdila – Guwahati (ARUNACHAL – ASSAM)
After breakfast drive to Guwahati (340 Kms / 9 hrs drive). Overnight in Hotel.

Day 09

Guwahati airport (ASSAM)
After breakfast drop at Guwahati airport. TOUR ENDS HERE.
